Each summer the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) holds a conference somewhere within the country. This years conference was held in Orlando, FL in July and included key note speaker and First Lady, Michelle Obama. While I was unable to make it to this years conference, I had the privilege of watching a video of her extremely inspiring speech. The level of support she shows for the school counseling profession is phenomenol as well as her understanding of student needs. Feel free to check out the video below:
